Utility Bills
You may pay your City Utility Bills in person, by telephone (with valid credit card), by mail, or by bank draft. Please contact the office if you are interested in setting up bank draft payments. New accounts (request for service) are handled by office personnel. Utility Service applications must be brought in person to the City Office, or mailed to: City of Big Lake, P.O. Box 310, Big Lake, Texas 76932. Deposit fees must be included along with a photocopy of the applicant's driver's license.Click here for Application for Utility Service.

You may also register a complaint or concern, obtain building or electrical permit forms, apply for vendor permits, or register for senior citizen discount through this office (copy of driver’s license required). We also have personnel who will provide complimentary Notary Public services for our City Utility customers.
All utility bills are mailed on the last working day of the month. Senior Citizens are eligible for a 15% discount if bill is paid by the 10th of the month. All accounts are due by the 15th of the month. If paid after the fifteenth, but before the 20th, a $5 late fee will be assessed. If paid after the 20th, a $50 non-payment fee will be applied. Disconnection of service will take place on the 21st of the month.

In addition to billing services, the staff at City Office handles day to day operations and works in conjunction with the Public Works field personnel. If you have questions about matters relating to City Services, please feel free to call, or drop by the office, and we will be glad to assist you.
