The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a Federal tax credit available to employers for hiring individuals from certain target groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment, such as veterans. To learn more visit https://www.doleta.gov/business/incentives/opptax/ or the enclosed Fact Sheet on tax credits for hiring veterans. - I'd like to learn more about military/veteran culture, are there resources available?
The Department of Labor provides a 'Military 101' training program, which provides employers with education on military culture, along with strategic information on how military expertise and skill sets can translate to civilian employment.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) operates a robust employer recognition program to honor outstanding hiring of, and support to, service members.
ESGR also functions as a trained, impartial ombudsman to resolve conflicts between employers and service members.
